Hot and Not...

I'm playing along again this week, and again it's because I've been enjoying reading all the funny little posts around the place about what is hot, and what is not. So here goes:

Hot:

1. The fact that Bella replaced my seriously old and decrepit keyring on the weekend, I've had him for years and he was, as you can see, a little beyond the state of repair...

new cowboy!

2. That I'm on the verge of exposing my new screen... it's all dry, and to the people who commented yesterday, yes, I decided to have all the dolls facing up too. :)

3. That I seem to have overcome my chocolate addiction for real this time... one full month of no chocolate and it's all out of my system, I can now look at it in the supermarket and am unfazed... who'da thunk it??

4. The Indie Fixx Free Art Project--

I know it's been going on for yonks, but I still love it...

5. Craftypod... I love Sister Dianne and her funny podcasts, I've been catching up on old ones all week.

6. John Safran's new show. I love him, he is so freaking crazy...

Not:

1. That I have a house inspection in approximately 10 minutes, and I've been sitting around twiddling my thumbs for about 40 minutes after cleaning like a woman possessed all morning... that my screen is just sitting there waiting to be exposed in the meantime, and that Henry, the sweetest little cat in the universe is at the cattery for the minute because he isn't supposed to be living here... it is good that I just realised his cat bed was still out and managed to put it in the cupboard, and cover up his 'scratchy' armchair... obvious giveaways...

2. That my face wash has little blue 'exfoliation beads' in it, and I keep finding them all over the place, my hairline, my ears, my pillow...

3. How thoroughly difficult it has been to find time to sew this week. I just haven't had it in me. Whenever I seem to get my zen right, something ridiculous happens, and I end up disgruntled and distracted... and the heat isn't helping with this one!

4. And in political not hottness, watching 4 Corners this week was seriously alarming... I discovered that some people in the coalition seriously think that the objective of the political left is to de-industrialise the west... I'm pretty left wing and I had no idea. Bizarre. We refer to the climate change skeptics as the 'flat earth society' around here. The scariest part was that I came out the experience respecting Ian Macfarlane...

Ok, well pop over to Loobylu for more or to join in!

Yay... it's Friday!

It's good to know that the conservatives pretty much harp on the same nuttiness in Oz that they do here.
And I'm very jealous that it's already Friday where you are.

I've had a face wash with the little blue beads, and I had the same problem. You can't get them to go away! (But I do like the scrubbiness of them. Trade off.)
