is all about drawing and printing again this week, not much sewing to speak of, although I'm hoping to change that today, as soon as the new screens are painted with photo emulsion, I will have several hours of waiting/drying time to spend at the machine... this is my current dilemma:
all dolls facing upwards, or...
a row of up and a row down... decisions, decisions... I'm leaning towards having them all facing upwards at the minute.
And this is a sneak peak of something else. It's actually going to be a paper print for walls and such, but I got excited and decided to print up a couple to make cushion covers from.
And for all those people that think I'm multi-talented, it's actually Joe who builds my screens and does the photo emulsion part, I just provide the drawings and do all the printing... very lucky to have someone who used to be a picture framer around the house!
And thank you to Jodie-- your present arrived earlier this week and I will post about it soon I promise-- so pretty!! :) and practical!
More creative spaces at Kootoyoo as always-- loving her new print, it sums up my mantra in life.
Happy Thursday-- almost the weekend!

Have a lovely day,

For what it's worth, I'm loving the dolls facing upwards. Sweet.
I probably lean towards the dolls facing up, but it does work the other way too. I have this dillema often - that's why blogland is so wonderful for a second or third or thirtieth opinion. The birds are lovely too. Beautiful work!
Love the little love birds. I like the dolls all facing up too, but I am just a bit like that!

Ohhh lovely I like all the right way up ...
Yes, I definitely think I like them all facing up. You just want to look at them all properly because they have such beautiful detail. Love the cushion cover print too. I want to gift it to me hubby for xmas! xo Meagan.
I think facing upwards works for me too :) I love the new stuff as well...Beautiful
Can't wait to see it printed. Where do you screenprint? I would love to have the space to do it.
Your prints are lovely - dolls and birds. I also live with a picture framer but unfortunately I can't draw like this so will just have to continue sewing! x
Great prints. I love the style of both of them. One of these days I'm going to find time to learn to print....
