What's taking sooo darn long???

That's how I'm feeling right now. I'm STILL making the Dew Drop Girl pattern... working between PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign, oh and Word to check my spelling and such. I made the decision to use illustrations instead of photos because I thought it would have more aesthetic appeal, and it does, but it is seriously time consuming compared with photos... and I've revised my instructions a couple of times just so that they are really clear-- it's hard to convert actions to words!

Yvette

And so this is Yvette, I've made 3 options for outfits in the pattern, and that's what's taking me so long! The actual pattern was written, illustrated and designed days ago-- now I'm converting something I make up as I go into pattern form in terms of overalls and dresses, and it's slightly tricky... but almost sorted. I sure hope people want to make Dew Drop Girls, because I'm sure putting the hours in!

One of the many, many little pictures I've drawn and redrawn!
Lucy

This is Lucy, she likes strawberry milk, picking flowers and
science experiments, she isn't very fond of vinegar, chlorine or nap time.

Sasha

And last but not least, Sasha, and her spunky-overall-type get up that caused so much pattern making mischief this afternoon! She's all about vintage fabric, eating with chop-sticks and
lamingtons, and not so much into hot soup on hot days, the TV news or camping.

Soon, very soon! And I promise to do a giveaway once it's up and running-- and in time for Christmas! :)

Very cute illustrations! Just drawing up embroidery patterns takes me forever. I can't imagine the time you're putting into this. But I have a feeling it will do well for you when it's done. ;)
