And so last week I was posting about my need to reduce the size of the production line... this week I am again struggling with creativity verses productivity... If you could only see all the things I've made this week that just haven't worked! I couldn't be bothered taking photos of them all... too depressing.
I have had a couple of small triumphs that I think with some more work and some tweeking might just turn out ok...
Meet my second panda attempt... and my first sheep attempt...
I like her face, but her body is all wrong...
And this mammoth panda (60cm tall!) is rather cuddly for a toddler... or me. It was inspired by brother's 'Big Ted'... this huge teddy bear he had when he was little that popped into my brain at some point during the week. I'm going to make some different animals this size, I'm thinking they might have tails... so that's exciting.
And the impaitient, restless woman that I am... I've been needing to reinvigorate my Blinkies pattern to save myself from monotony... Joe says Blade Runner, I say Ninja Turtle...
There will definitely be some more of these critters, I'm thinking all black with a balaclava on!
I am quite happy with the different fabrics that I've been using lately though...
Ok, I'm off to sort out these patterns and hopefully get some structure into my day and my process! Wish me luck! Check out all the great creative spaces at Kootoyoo! Typepad is being strange and so I will have to type the link manually... sorry about that:

Those are all so, so cute. I love all the different fabrics, and that panda is my favorite.
Very cool! I like your dolls so much. I think it is the shapes and textures that do it for me.
I love the fabrics you're using for these cute little creations. The sheep is great - maybe a rounder body?
I like the wee sheep, those big floppy ears and sweet face, what a cutie.
